They do have a 2 year warranty but I don't know how easy that would be to use. So if you're hesitant to buy a Chinese radio, I don't blame you, but it seems they really used quality components in these and its performance leaves nothing lacking. I also purchased their dash cam(uses a USB port) which is decent but the GPS and speed(km/h only) are extremely inaccurate so i just turned them off. The screen is also removable, just connected by a single ribbon cable. It also has a Coaxial Output and an Optical Output for single wire audio signal to an aftermarket amp that accepts it. I want some warm bass, smooth mids, and crisp highs (dont we all). 2015 XLT SCREW, 8 Productivity Screen, No Sony, No NAV. I need it to fit in the stock opening with maybe a trim kit but I dont want to.

Im wanting a unit that has car wireless Apple Car Play(with no tethering/no need for a USB to Lightning cable) and a rear camera. Ive read page after page of threads and havent really gotten clear answers. Stereo/Audio - 2005 F150 Stock Radio Upgrade - I have a stock radio in my 2005 F150 that I need to upgrade. It has two USB ports(one is an OTG that I have connected to a PS3 controller for gaming) in the back and a single RCA for rear camera input. Stereo/Audio - 2015 F-150 Sound Upgrade Basics - Just got my 2015 XLT Screw, 1st priority is the sound upgrade. Had some hiccups with the software variant but customer support helped me with an update that fixed the problem. Looks great and ties into the factory HVAC controls perfectly. Overall very satisfied and impressed with OEM-like functionality.

You can also install custom launcher software to customize it however you like. I purchased a this for a 2016 F150 XL Sync 1. The text in settings is a bit small and difficult to see while driving, but can be adjusted to your liking in the developer options "Set maximum width". It has 1200p resolution and is very responsive and can run anything an android phone can, including Apple Car Play for the OP. It mounts as flush as it can considering its a 10" screen. I used the standard Metra mounting kit for an '07 F150, Metra main harness(incl sub harness)and I bought the 12v-5v converter for the factory amp remote signal. I had no issues connecting steering wheel controls(1-wire) or the factory sub remote wire. Compared to $1,500.00 for the same size Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX. It has everything I was looking for at a far lower price.Īt the time of this post, the cost is $489 for the upgraded 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. But after extensive research I pulled the trigger on the following unit. I quickly dismissed it at first until I kept finding prices higher and higher for name-brand units. Until a friend got me looking into the Chinese android radios. Not wanting to settle for something cheap, but everything that had what I wanted was out of my budget. I have been shopping off and on for years now. I have the "Audiophile" system with the factory sub. My wifes new 2017 Fusion has the Sync 3 and 11 speakers and it'll blow you out of the car before it's even at 1/2 of full volume.About 2 weeks ago I replaced the head unit in my 2007 Lariat. This 2016 F150 stereo won't get loud enough to even distort the loudest recorded music at FULL VOLUME. This is what I'd expect so that there's enough gain for music mastered at lower record levels. Most stereos in my vehicles have enough gain that the music will distort at only around 5/8 to 3/4 of full volume. Like I said, I never had a stereo with so little gain. I just can't get enough volume when going down the road with the windows open to even hear it clearly. This is a concern because I listen to USB albums and CDs I recorded myself at only a few decibels lower than max, to be sure the music didn't clip and distort. I'm wondering if there's a setting not set correctly but I've tried it optimized for driver and passengers, and with the bass, midrange, and treble turned all the way up, yet it still doesn't get loud. I had a mid level Rockford Fosgate complete speaker upgrade, amp, 10 sub / amp in my. Just got my 2019 and while I was initially impressed with B&O.it’s lacking. I did find 2 prior threads with some good info. The 2012 F150 base sync 6 speaker stereo was awesome and had enough volume to drive you out of the truck. 2015 - 2020 Ford F150 - B&O stereo upgrade - Ok guys, I hope this topic hasn’t been beaten to death yet. It's like it' pre-amp gain is set to low, which doesn't allow the stereo to ouput it's full gain without a perfect master recorded at the max levels. Even full blast, the stereo isn't obnoxiously loud like I would expect. Ever since it was new, it's volume has to be turned up 3/4 of full volume to get certain sources to play at adequate volume levels such as some USB sources and CDs of older songs that were not mastered as loud as todays music. How to I get the gain in the stereo to adjust so that the stereo gets louder.
